Different types of bending testing machines and their correct operating methods

TIME Testing Machine will analyze the different types of bending testing machines and their correct operating methods.

1. Turn the bending mechanism lever to its left-hand limit. This action releases the cylinder's reservoir. Place the desired cylinder into the reservoir, insert the test piece vertically between the cylinder and the pressure roller shaft (coated side facing the bending column), and push it into the lower clamping device.

The clamping unit is adjustable, but at this point, the clamping device should not be fully locked. Pull the black knob, sliding the inserted test piece along with the guide roller and clamping unit until its position aligns with the cylindrical shaft. Then fully lock the black knob, ensuring the clamping unit and test piece are fixed in this position.

2. Rotate the screw on the bending lever. The pressure roller then acts on the test piece, with the cylindrical shaft below. Rotate the bending lever until it reaches its right-hand limit on the instrument. This movement will cause the test piece to bend around the selected cylindrical shaft.

3. The bending process should be performed in a smooth motion, lasting 1-2 seconds.
